Malakoff, TX
Settled in the early 1800s, Malakoff has a rich history of being a town that provides for the community. That started with cotton crops in the mid 1800s, transformed to coal in the 1920s, and is now the home of Acme Brick, cattle farms, and a rejuvenated historical downtown area, thanks to locals who care about keeping their little slice of Texas thriving.
Malakoff even has their own version of Bigfoot, with the Malakoff Man being a famous discovery that has inspired both scientific research and its own set of lore. The Daytripper even did his own investigation on the matter!
